Heating : Radiant Heat |
What is Radiant? Energy broadcast at the speed of light from a heated surface, usually the floor. Every object in the room absorbs this warming energy while the room temperature stays lower than with forced air. Although the floor temperature does not exceed 85 degrees F, this is all you need to evenly distribute heat where you need it.
Although the initial investment is slightly higher, your money comes back to you through ongoing energy savings of up to 40%. Heat loss by air infiltration and through windows is greatly reduced. Radiant energy doesn't collect at the ceiling, and thermostats can be lower. Radiant heat keeps your furniture and drapery extremely clean and the floors dry.
We can install both in-floor or ceiling radiant heat systems. Contact us for more details. |
